Cellulite treatment

Cellulite is a common term used to describe superficial pockets of trapped fat, which cause uneven dimpling or “orange peel” skin. It appears in 90% of post-adolescent women and is rarely seen in men. Common but not exclusive areas where cellulite is found, are the thighs, buttocks, and the abdomen. Contrary to popular belief, cellulite is not related to obesity, since it occurs in overweight, normal, and thin women.

Cellulite treatment is as varied as it can get. The most effective methods are:

Vacuotherapy
It consists of a mechanical treatment which works through massage (palpate-roll type) and drainage of the tissues in order to make them more supple and to discharge them. The appliances used suck in the skin, as a suction-pump would do, while at the same time moving over the skin, thus massaging the zones affected with cellulitis.
Making the tissues more supple will gradually improve the 'mattress'-like appearance of the orange-peel skin. The massages stimulate the local micro-circulation. This method is also used in order to make the tissues firmer.

Termolipolisis
Suitable treatment to counteract the obesity and the overweight, this treatment is based on bands of infrared rays, with longitude of short wave that penetrate until the fat tissue and they produce break of the nodules of fat.
Diminish the appearance of the cellulitis considerably.
